Terms and Conditions

1. General Information

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Rovinj Taxi Transfers (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”, “we”, “our” or “us”). By booking a transfer or tour through our website, email, phone or any other communication channel, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Our services include private airport transfers, long-distance transport and private tours in Rovinj and across the Istria region.

2. Booking and Confirmation

All bookings must include accurate details such as:

• Pickup location
• Destination
• Date and time
• Number of passengers
• Flight number (for airport transfers)

Once your booking is confirmed by us via email, message or other communication, a contract is established between you and the Company.

We reserve the right to refuse a booking if required information is incomplete or incorrect.

3. Prices and Payment

All prices are agreed in advance and confirmed at the time of booking. Prices are fixed and include:

• Vehicle and driver
• Fuel and road costs
• Standard waiting time
• Luggage transport

Additional charges may apply in case of:

• Extra stops not agreed in advance
• Significant route changes
• Extended waiting time beyond the included limit

Payment methods may include cash, bank transfer or other agreed options.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be made in advance.

Cancellation policy:

• More than 24 hours before pickup: free cancellation
• Less than 24 hours before pickup: cancellation fee may apply
• No-show: full amount may be charged

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed using the original payment method.

5. Waiting Time and Flight Delays

For airport pickups:

• We monitor flight arrivals and adjust pickup time accordingly
• Standard waiting time after landing is included

For non-airport pickups:

• A reasonable waiting time is included
• Additional waiting may be charged if significantly extended

If the customer does not show up without notice, it will be treated as a no-show.

6. Passenger Responsibilities

Passengers are responsible for:

• Providing accurate booking details
• Being ready at the agreed pickup time
• Informing us of any changes in advance

Passengers must behave appropriately during the journey. We reserve the right to terminate the service without refund in case of:

• Dangerous or abusive behavior
• Damage to the vehicle
• Violation of applicable laws

7. Luggage Policy

Passengers must inform us in advance about:

• Excess luggage
• Large items (sports equipment, strollers, etc.)

We reserve the right to refuse transport if luggage exceeds vehicle capacity and was not declared during booking.

8. Delays and Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays caused by:

• Traffic conditions
• Weather conditions
• Road closures
• Border delays
• Other circumstances beyond our control

However, we will always make reasonable efforts to ensure timely arrival.

9. Liability

We provide transport services with the highest level of professionalism and care. However, we are not liable for:

• Missed flights due to unforeseen circumstances
• Loss or damage of personal belongings left in the vehicle
• Delays caused by third parties or external factors

Our liability is limited to the value of the booked service.

10. Private Tours

Private tours are customizable and based on agreed itineraries. Changes during the tour may affect the final price or duration.

Entrance fees, meals and personal expenses are not included unless explicitly stated.

11. Privacy Policy

All personal data provided during booking will be used solely for the purpose of delivering the service and will not be shared with third parties, except where required by law.

12. Amendments

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be available on our website.
